THE OPPORTUNITY

Join spektr's expansion engine - responsible for making sure every client goes live fast, stays healthy, and grows. As our AI Expansion Specialist, you will own the AI-specific side of that growth motion: identifying where compliance work can be automated, sizing the opportunity, and leading the process of scoping, piloting, and implementing solutions through the spektr platform.

This is a commercial role with a technical twist. You will go on-site with clients, sit inside their compliance teams, and find the work that is most repeated, most costly, and most automatable. From there you build the business case - how much of this can be reduced or automated today, what is that worth, and how does it compare to the cost of the spektr solution - and lead the client from conviction to signed expansion.

The risk you are always guarding against is building something bespoke. Every use case you validate with one client should become a candidate for the product roadmap and a repeatable motion across many. You will have a direct line to the spektr product and engineering team and will be the bridge between what clients need and what spektr builds next.

Tasks

  • Go on-site with clients to map compliance workflows in detail - understand what their teams do every day, how long it takes, and where the repetitive, low-judgment work lives
  • Build structured business cases for each opportunity - quantifying the value of automation against for senior leadership decision-making
  • Lead scoping, piloting, and implementation of AI use cases in close collaboration with clients and the spektr product team
  • Define success metrics upfront, track pilots rigorously, and produce a clear case for scaling
  • Document and package every validated use case so it becomes a repeatable motion - every win should work for the next client too
  • Feed structured briefs back to the spektr product team: what we proved, the size of the opportunity, what needs to be built

Requirements

  • 2–5 years in a commercial, consulting, or solutions role with hands-on exposure to AI or automation - we care about how you think, not just your CV
  • You have built a business case or commercial argument from scratch - you know how to frame a pain point, size it, and make it land with a senior executive
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or workflow software - you are comfortable prototyping and iterating, not just advising
  • You think in scalable patterns: when you solve a problem, you immediately ask 'how do we do this for the next 10 clients?'
  • Willing and excited to travel to client sites regularly - the most important insights come from sitting inside a client's compliance team for a day, not from a discovery call
  • Strong written output: you can turn a messy client conversation into a clean brief that an engineer or a COO can both act on

THIS ROLE MIGHT NOT BE THE RIGHT FIT, IF...

You are most comfortable in a purely advisory role without getting hands-on, prefer building bespoke solutions to finding scalable patterns, need pre-packaged collateral before you can have a commercial conversation, or are more comfortable with a clear structure.
