Buying Manager - Profile Collaborations
As a Buying Manager at NA-KD, you have a sharp trend instinct and strong analytical skills. The role requires the ability to act quickly yet thoughtfully to drive impactful results. This person is a confident leader who inspires their team while remaining deeply hands-on with data, product direction, and key processes. Success in the role comes from a balance of ownership and effective collaboration, thriving in both strategic and operational responsibilities.
In this role, you’ll work as a bridge between purchasing and our commercial team to bring NA-KD’s brand vision to life and push for new opportunities in assortment, performance and innovation.
By collaborating closely with creative women and curating collections together, we build a stronger connection with our audience. Each partnership is rooted in capturing the profile’s unique personal style while staying true to the NAKD brand identity. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute buying strategies aligned with company KPIs, focusing on cost management and return initiatives.
Lead and support the buying team to ensure efficient procurement processes.
Responsible for developing a strong and profitable assortment that aligns with NA-KD’s brand identity.
Lead and develop a team of buyers, buyer assistants, garment technicians and concept design managers providing guidance and professional growth.
Act like a project leader to make sure all key stakeholders work towards the same deadlines and targets.
Analyze sales data, forecasts and inventory needs to optimize product availability and identify in-season actions.
Oversee budgets, cost control and margin targets within the buying function.
Identify new product opportunities and support product development initiatives.
Collaborate with cross functions like merchandising, logistics and marketing teams to support overall business goals and maximize sales potential.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
Your Past & Your Skills
+3 years in a similar position within the fashion industry or demonstrated excellent performance in related roles with a strong experience in building a commercial and trend-driven assortment.
Previous responsibility for budget ownership and KPI achievement.
Successfully led a team of minimum 5 people.
Demonstrated success in supplier management, negotiation and sourcing
