Print fashion designer role description

As a Print Designer at NA-KD, you will be responsible for creating innovative prints, patterns, and graphics that define our seasonal collections. You will transform creative concepts into visually compelling designs that are true to the brand, commercially relevant, and production-ready.

Reports to: Concept design manager

Key responsibilities

  • Develop original allover prints, patterns, and graphics for apparel, accessories, and special collections.

  • Collaborate closely with designers, buyers and trend teams to ensure prints align with the brand’s aesthetic and market trends.

  • Research fashion, art, and lifestyle trends to inspire innovative and on-trend print solutions.

  • Prepare production-ready files, including technical specifications, ensuring prints are accurately executed across different fabrics and materials, including approving strike offs.

  • Contribute to limited-edition collections and artist collaborations (e.g., NA-KD ART).

  • Maintain and evolve NA-KD’s print library and visual identity.

Your Past & Your Skills

  • 2+ years experience as print designer.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing original prints, patterns, and graphics for fashion.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

  • Knowledge of print techniques, fabric behavior, and production processes.

  • Highly creative, trend-aware, and capable of translating brand vision into wearable prints.

  • Knowledge of one or more industries.

  • A creative visionary yet commercial mindset with a true passion for fashion.

  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Fluent in English.
