Operational QC & Returns Specialist
The QC & Returns Specialist is responsible for ensuring high product quality throughout the entire product flow and driving improvements that reduce return rates and improve the customer experience. The role serves as a link between purchasing, warehouse and customer service, working with incoming goods checks, returns handling and data analysis. The goal is to identify quality problems early, improve procedures and ensure that only goods that meet requirements reach the customer.
The role is based at our warehouse in Landskrona, while the manager is located at the Gothenburg office. This requires a high degree of self-leadership, ownership and accountability, with the ability to independently drive work forward, follow up on activities and results, and ensure continuous improvements in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality checks on incoming goods and conduct random sampling.
Document deviations and provide feedback to purchasing and suppliers.
Analyze return reasons and identify products/categories with high return rates.
Gather and analyze warehouse and returns-related data on a regular basis to identify trends and improvement areas.
Improve procedures for return sorting, grading, overstock and scrapping.
Collaborate with customer service and purchasing to reduce quality- and fit-related returns.
Create SOPs and standards within QC and the returns flow.
Follow up KPIs related to quality, return rate and product deviations.
Collaborate with the cleaning/recond team to increase recovery quality and reduce unnecessary waste.
Be the “on-floor” link between analysis (office) and the practical reality in the warehouse.
Your Past & Your Skills
Experience in quality work or quality management within fashion, e-commerce or warehouse operations.
Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
Accurate, analytical and structured.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, follow-up and presentations.
Hands-on, proactive and driven by “hugging in” where needed, comfortable working both operationally on the floor and analytically with data.
