In this exciting role, you will, together with the creative team, contribute to a commercial sales-driven assortment with a high trend level.

Fashion Concept Design Manager

In the role of Fashion Concept Design Manager, you are responsible for the visual goal of several product groups and concept collections. You contribute to the overall trend directions together with other Concept Designers and Head of Design.

Your daily tasks include attending sales/creative meetings and collaborating with the buying manager within your business area. In this role, you need to stay updated on trends, the market, and our customers to be able to secure fashion in all different layers of the fashion triangle. You will be reporting to the buying manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a group of designers, providing guidance and feedback to support their professional growth.
  • Overall responsible for the variety and expression of all kinds of different product groups together with the buying manager.
  • Participate in trend forecasting and lead capsule collections together with the Head of Design and other Concept Designers to ensure collection success.
  • Participate in assortment meetings and design meetings,
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly sales review meetings and creative meetings to secure assortment success
  • Pitch new ideas

Your Past & Your Skills

  • 7+ years in womenswear design
  • Experience in concept creation or trend prediction management
  • Team leadership or management experience
  • Strong task prioritization skills
  • Ability to predict upcoming trends
  • Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Knowledgeable in one or more industries
  • Creative and commercial mindset with a passion for fashion
  • Strong intuition for global women's fashion trends
  • Analytical and creative thinking skills
  • Understanding of the commercial fashion business
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and risk-taking ability
  • Experience working with external partners such as suppliers, collaborators, or influencers
  • Fluent in English
