Commercial Business Controller

As a key player in our commercial team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing NA-KD's commercial performance. You will provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making and ensure our sales, marketing, and purchasing teams work in perfect sync. Your expertise will help shape our commercial budget, sales plans, rolling forecasts, and overall business strategy to maximize profitable growth.

To succeed in this role, you ought to have a talent for analysis, have a strategic mindset, be an informal leader and have the ability to see potential for improvement. You are skilled in presenting and communicating analysis results in a way that is easy to understand and make decisions based on.

Key Responsibilities

Budgeting & forecasting: Collaborate with our sale, partnership, brand, marketing, finance- and purchase department in conducting our sales and profitability budget and put together a high-quality sales forecast of expected sales volumes that aligns with the sales plan. Lead cross functional monthly budget & forecast meetings and ensure an aligned view on sales forecast between the key functions (Sales, Purchasing and Operations).

Develop & maintain tools: Responsible for developing and maintaining commercial tools such as forecasting models to support budgeting, planning, and performance analysis for the commercial stakeholders.

Data analysis: Monitor and analyze key commercial metrics, sales data, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and profitability. Provide regular commercial reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management, highlighting variances, trends, and areas of opportunities.

Product life cycle management: Responsible for analyzing our product life cycle and working closely with different stakeholders to identify opportunities and actions for optimizing the product life cycle.

Process improvements: Identify inefficiencies in commercial processes and recommend innovative solutions to optimize operations and improve efficiency. Assist in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for commercial stakeholders.

System development: Be a close link to NA-KD´s Data team and work together on improving data quality and accessibility.

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant educational background
• 3+ years of commercial controlling experience
• Skilled in conducting commercial budgets and forecasting
• Solid understanding of e-com tools as Google analytics and BI-system
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with key stakeholders & management team
• Self-going & self-confident, with the ability to drive things from start to finish
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven strategic mindset
• Ability to deliver high quality analysis, and are skilled in how to visualize and present data for senior management and other stakeholders
• Advanced excel and google sheet skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Knowledge of the fashion industry and a passion for online retail is preferred
