We are an engineering and product company at the core and are now looking for an Engineering Manager to take Engineering to the next level.
What you will be doing
As an Engineering Manager at Anyfin you will be responsible for creating highly efficient, engaged and happy teams. Your role involves making sure your teams create and operate the best products with high quality, helping our customers to improve their financial wellbeing. To summarize:

You will ensure the overall delivery and quality of the products developed by one or multiple teams assigned to you

You collaborate closely with product management to ensure we are focusing on the right product and technological opportunities

Foster engaged and agile teams that are aligned towards our shared goals

Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve your services

Hands-on technical leadership when and where needed. Our tech stack is mainly based on fullstack JavaScript with a focus on Node, React and TypeScript.

Coach and mentor engineers, making them learn and grow as professionals

Actively participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members

Drive change, juggle priorities and provide great leadership to foster a highly innovate and fast-paced environment

Who you are
You are business oriented and understand how you and your teams’ delivery and projects affect the business results. You also see the link between, and the importance of close collaboration between product development and engineering.
Apart from that we believe you have:

7+ years of Software Engineering experience out of which at least 2 are as an Engineering Manager

You have hired, mentored and developed high potential individuals
-
You know how to develop and impact engineers across teams towards high performance
- You have a deep understanding of existing technologies and trends
- You have a proven track record of leading change initiatives, for example taking a project or team from A to B
- You are resilient to change, you are part of it, you drive it
- You have strong organisational and prioritisation skills along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.

Anyfin is a smart financial-app where you get a great overview of your spendings, income, subscriptions and much more. We also provide a service that helps lowering the cost of consumer loans and credits by reducing high interests, and removing unnecessary fees. Overall, the app is a great tool to understand your finances better.

Our journey so farOur journey so far
2017Founded; Sven, Filip and Mikael got together in a small room in Stockholm, figuring out how to help people with their finances in the best way.
2018We were publically launched with our first product - Refinancing. Our Series A investment round of 47 million SEK was secured and we started growing.
2019Time to explore markets outside of Sweden - Finland is launched! We also moved to our current office on Drottninggatan in Stockholm. On top of that we secured our second investment round (Series A+) of 80 million SEK.
2020We launched several new products; Credit Block, The bridge, Monthly Economy and Subscriptions. We also doubbled in size from 40 to 80 employees and got our Series B investment of 300 million SEK.
2021We broadened our scope and launched Anyfin in Germany. We grew to 130 employees. Our fourth investment, Series B+ of 450 million SEK.
2022We continued growing and went live in Norway! We launched Savings and Bill Smoothing. Opened our German office and got our Series C investment of 320 million SEK.
