We've just launched our Current Account and are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help continue to shape and build out the customer experience and features as it grows.
We want to transform the Current Accounts space as we have already done with loans, savings, credit cards and car finance, tying together our Zopa ecosystem, with big ambitions targeting over 1m+ active customers in 3 years' time. This role will be crucial to helping us get there so there's big opportunity for some serious career defining impact.
This is a highly autonomous and high ownership role, strategising how we design and build on our core CA proposition so that customers love to use it to meet all of their banking needs, including those they share with the other people in their lives.

The role:

  • Lead a cross-functional full-stack squad that will be responsible for designing and building a new current account proposition
  • Use insight and collaborate closely with the design team to ensure the proposition is differentiated in the market and meets customer needs and pain-points
  • Problem solve with the engineers in your team on how to build solutions, helping them make the right trade-offs to ensure we’re able to add value quickly and learn fast, whilst simultaneously shipping quality products to our customers
  • Ensure everything built is beautiful, valuable, viable, usable and feasible, with the help of the engineers and designers in your team
  • Collaborate with other tribes and squads within Zopa in order toensure overall product cohesiveness
  • Build close relationships with key stakeholders such as Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Legal and Finance to effectively and successfully take the product to customers
  • Manage the live product in market, driving business goals and focusing on the right metrics that will move the needle
  • Use data and feedback from multiple sources to drive enhancements and make tough product calls

About you:

  • You have spent 5+ years working in customer-facing product. Ideally, you have experience at a Retail Bank or Fintech, but this isn’t imperative
  • You are passionate about Product and solving customer problems. As a Product Manager, you are the voice of the customer
  • You can evidence the successful products you’ve built. If you haven’t created a zero to one product, you’ve really moved the needle on metrics for previous products
  • Customers love your products. You combine quantitative and qualitative evidence to make customer insights central to your decision-making process. You’re clear how your product differentiates and how it fits your target market’s specific needs
  • You're outcomes focused and highly proactive. You take ownership for the product’s success, including where this goes beyond your immediate remit
  • Your decisions are backed by data. You test and learn as you go, consistently progressing towards the end goal rather than waiting for perfection
  • You have experience acting as a leader in cross-functional teams, are highly collaborative and excellent at managing stakeholders
