The Opportunity
At Zopa, analysts are the people that inspire ideas and strategies to drive our business forward and make our products better for customers.
Our analysts are a mix of creative problem solvers and number whizzes with a passion for translating numbers into business opportunities and delivering insights to drive decision-making. They're also strong communicators with the ability to story-tell with data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
Our analysts are deeply embedded into the business and will interact with individuals at all levels of the business from Managers to our leadership team.
We are currently looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Retail finance solution / Point of Sale product tribe. Your role is to be the key person generating the insight that helps us to improve our product stream (originally an acquisition of DivideBuy) by adding more insight and data driven decision making.
A Day In The Life
- Support the Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering team improve our data warehouse and data migration to Redshift
- Generate key insight from our vast data warehouse and help our product managers drive product development
- Pair with product managers to design and implement A:B tests in live customer journeys
- Model and forecast the impact of changes that you are driving
- Work collaboratively with product managers, software engineers, designers and our credit analysts to get to the best solution
- Support the merchant and client success team by sharing insight on product commercial data
- Taking on ownership of projects, monitoring key metrics and identifying new and exciting opportunities
About you
- Some experience in a data-led, fast paced environment (e.g. consulting, banking, start-up)
- You’re analytical and have excellent attention to detail
- You have a quantitative background, and you are a natural at turning data into insight to make decisions.
- You have strong experience using SQL and have some basic understanding of Python
- You have some experience in using Tableau or other BI tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI)
- You can communicate your insights succinctly, stick to key results and influence upwards, downwards and sideways
- You treat others with respect but you’re not afraid to challenge them sensitively
- You’re a self-starter. You know when to ask for support and you’re not shy about doing so but you don’t wait to be told what to do
- You’re always on the lookout for new learning opportunities and strive to be on the cutting edge
- You are used to working in cross-functional teams with many skillsets coming together to make amazing products

From September 2025, Zopa will be opening a brand-new office in Manchester at WeWork, Dalton Place, 29 John Dalton Street, M2 6WF.

We value face-to-face collaboration and a good work-life balance. This hybrid role requires you to come to our Manchester office 2-3 days a week.
