The Analytic Engineering team is part of the wider Data Team within Technology. We are looking to grow the team and are looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join. The team are all about turning data into useful information that helps analytic, product, finance and risk teams get the value and insight that they need! Currently the team is 3 Analytics Engineers and we are hiring in a new Head of Analytics Engineering to lead and develop the team with plans to grow further.

At Zopa we have multiple products and lots of data that we want to make better use of to make better decisions for our customers. So, as a Senior Analytics Engineer you will bring together technical skills that handle complex data and understanding of how the business works, to create user friendly, quality data assets. This role is all about using DBT and SQL to build solutions that represent what happens to our customer and products. Not only that, at Zopa we focus heavily on autonomy and empowerment so you will own the existing data assets with a focus on simplicity and optimisation. Moreover, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify customer needs and develop strong relationships with product teams to understand the changes that are coming and how this will impact your area, as well as troubleshooting and working across teams investigating issues and finding solutions.

Analytics Engineering is still a new skillset to Zopa and so this is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to influence how we work, how we structure things and how we best meet customer needs.
