Partnerships Manager
What’s Yonder?
Yonder is a VC backed business building the financial membership of the future. Starting with a credit card that has fun and experiences at its core, we're the antithesis to your dad's stuffy, corporate, boring credit card.
Whilst tech is revolutionising the finance industry, credit is still stuck in the Stone Age. We want to create a world where financial services are fair and conscious, and the stress of debt is eliminated for everyone.
We raised £23.4M in September 2024 to grow the team, launch even better rewards, and expand beyond the UK. If that sounds good to you, you’ll probably like it here. 🎉
Sounds cool. What’s my part in this?
Experiences bring our product to life. Whether it's the latest restaurant opening, a new West End theatre show or a breakout consumer goods brand challenging the fashion industry, our members trust us to curate Experiences that empower them to live financially rewarding lives.
We're looking for a Partnerships Manager to own new business acquisition. You'll be responsible for the entire sales cycle - from sourcing, lead generation and contract negotiation, to implementation. You'll be speaking to a mix of prospects, from SMB owner-directors to C-suite decision makers at some of the worlds largest brands.
Here's what a day might look like:
Identifying brand targets and decision makers, and designing the appropriate messaging to make contact and build a relationship
Closing deals across Yonder’s partner ecosystem, owning a targeted, ICP-led approach to engage and convert partners from SMB through to enterprise
Developing a deep understanding of the problems these brands are trying to solve, across a range of verticals - eCommerce covers everything from dining, products, to beauty and fashion
Identifying and developing new ways for brands to work with Yonder - building out innovative value props and commercial structures that drive incremental revenue
Analysing campaign performance to optimise brand campaigns and share insights with the rest of the business on how the category is performing
We're looking for someone that:
✅ Is a natural hunter who genuinely loves sales. Not someone who tolerates it, or fell into it — someone who gets a genuine kick out of finding the right brand, crafting the right message, and turning a cold lead into a partnership. You've built pipelines from scratch, you know how to manage volume without losing quality, and you're looking for a place where that drive is matched and rewarded.
✅ Is resilient and keeps going when it's tough. You don't need external motivation to dust yourself off and go again. You set your own bar, and it's high.
✅ Sells from the heart, not a script. You believe in what you're selling, and it shows. You build real relationships with the brands you bring on because you genuinely care about their success - not just closing the deal.
✅ Backs their own instincts but is hungry to keep learning. You're the kind of person who spots an opportunity and moves without waiting to be told. But you're equally comfortable being challenged, taking feedback on board, and evolving how you work.
✅ Is a team player who makes the room better. Our team is the most important thing we have at Yonder. We want someone who lifts others, shares what's working, and brings positive energy.
✅ Has or is keen to develop commercial acumen. You think like a business owner, not just a salesperson. The commercial arrangements with brands will have a direct impact on our P&L, and you'll need to hold your own in those conversations - understanding margin, costs, value exchange, and what a good deal actually looks like for both sides.
✅ Has some familiarity with restaurants, retailers or consumer brands or is keen to develop it. A lot of the brands we work with sit at the intersection of dining and retail, so previous experience in or alongside these sectors is a genuine advantage. That said, it's not a dealbreaker - if you've got strong commercial instincts and a genuine curiosity for the space, we'd love to hear from you.

What’s the interview process like?
We take the candidate experience really seriously, so we've made the process as transparent as possible. We promise to be super responsive, and will never leave you wondering where you stand.
Stage 1 - Intro call (45 mins): You'll have an initial video call with Kirk (VP Partnerships) to find out more about you and to tell you more about us.
Stage 2 - Case interview (60 mins, in-person): Meet with Kirk and another member of the Partnerships & Experiences team. You'll be given a take-home task, which you'll share back to the team. This is designed for us to understand how you think.
Stage 3 - Face-to-face interview (2 hours, in-person): Two 60-minute interviews to learn more about how you work - a great chance to meet the rest of the team. Includes an Experience interview (with the partnerships team) and a Values interview (two people from our wider team) - we’ll ask you questions related to our principles (Our DNA), plus a 15-minute comfort break in between ☕️
Stage 4: We’ll also do a reference check - ideally with a previous manager on the phone
Stage 5 — Offer: If everyone's happy, we'll make you an offer - YAY! 🎉 We aim to give you a decision between each stage within 24 hours where possible.
A few other things to know: We love closing the feedback loop - you can opt into feedback at every stage. We must complete right-to-work and criminal background checks for every new Yonder-er, and we also do reference checks, ideally with your most recent manager.
Other things to know:
We love closing the feedback loop at Yonder. You can expect specific feedback on our decision from Stage 2 onwards, and you can always ask for more.
We must complete the right to work & criminal background checks for every new Yonder-er for compliance purposes because we handle sensitive customer data.
We also do reference checks, ideally with your most recent manager on the phone.
We like to move quickly at Yonder, so we will be ready to onboard you once the above checks are complete - the entire process can take between 2 - 6 weeks.
🌈 We know that diverse teams build better products. If you’re from an under-represented community, we’d especially love to hear from you.
👉 Even if you don’t feel 100% qualified, please do apply anyway. Your attitude and desire to grow are just as important as your experience.
