Do note that all our jobs are📍 Barcelona based. We work in a hybrid model, we offer a flexible work environment where regular office attendance is expected for which the frequency is determined at a team level.
The Challenge 🧩
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development & Partnerships Specialist to help us push Yupop’s vision forward and expand its reach through strategic partnerships. The goal is to drive sustainable growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships. Is a Temporary role on a 6-month contract.
What You Will Do 👇
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership and business development strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and product innovation.
- Develop and implement metrics to track the performance and impact of partnerships. Provide regular analysis to senior management, highlighting key insights, opportunities, and strategies.
- Build long-term relationships with relevant third parties (commerce associations, schools, incubators, digital agencies, etc).
- Source and evaluate potential partnership opportunities, assessing their strategic fit, market potential, and financial viability.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and partnership due diligence to make informed decisions and drive deals forward independently.
- Collaborate closely with internal team members, including product, marketing, and CS, to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
What We’re Looking For 🔎
- Proven working experience, at least 5 years as a B2B business development manager, sales executive, or a sales-relevant role.
- Experience developing and executing a comprehensive partnership and business development strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and product innovation
- Experience in a SaaS B2B service company.
- Entrepreneurial and self-driven operator with the ability to build business development strategy from scratch.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Enthusiasm for the project and its growth potential.

What does the hiring process for this position look like? 👀
**Please, note that all interviews take place remotely over hangouts.**
1) Intro Call - run by talent acquisition, focus on providing more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience, motivation, and expectations. This usually takes 45-60 minutes.
2) Task / Case Study Submission / Take-home test - you will be assigned a task to submit within 5 up to 7 days where you will be able to showcase your expertise / technical skills required for the role.
3) Expertise Interview - run by the hiring team, focus on the required core skills and the ability to deliver in a given context. This usually takes 60 minutes.
4) Stakeholder Interview - run by relevant stakeholders reflecting the reality of the context of the role, focus on the ability to collaborate & deliver in a cross-functional set-up. This usually takes 60 minutes.
5) Culture-Add Interview - run by culture interviewers, focus on adherence to Wallapop's purpose and business proposition. This usually takes 60 minutes.
