The Opportunity

As a Technical Implementation Manager at Wagestream, you will play a critical role in managing the success of Wagestream’s live clients by ensuring continuity and consistency as client systems evolve. Working closely with the Client Success and Engineering teams, you will be involved in every stage — from identifying and scoping technical implementation projects for live accounts, all the way through to launch and post-launch hypercare.

Your key responsibility will be to ensure that integration changes are efficiently managed and seamlessly implemented, ensuring no disruption to employees. Ultimately, your focus will be on optimising and maintaining client systems while maintaining a high standard of service and satisfaction.

You will ensure that Wagestream's solutions continue to meet the evolving needs of clients, supporting long-term and successful partnerships.

What will you be doing?

  • Collaborate with Client Success: Work closely with the Client Success team to understand client requirements, scope technical implementation projects, and ensure alignment on project objectives for live accounts.
  • Lead Integration Changes: Gather and document integration changes for the live client base, ensuring that they are understood, prioritised, and implemented with minimal disruption to existing systems.
  • Manage Technical Implementations: Lead the implementation of integration changes and technical solutions, ensuring successful integration of Wagestream’s platform into clients’ systems.
  • Optimise Legacy Integrations: Proactively assess existing integrations with legacy clients, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Serve as a Technical Advisor: Be the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing guidance, support, and expertise throughout the implementation process.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work with internal development and technical teams to ensure successful integration and timely delivery of Wagestream solutions.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients’ expectations are exceeded.
  • Optimise Resource: Work closely with the Head of Integrations and Head of Delivery to ensure client change request activity is suitably resourced in line with other client integration work
  • Resolve Technical Issues: Address client escalations and technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes, documentation, and best practices to optimise future client integrations and implementations.

What experience might you have?

  • Strong Technical Background: Extensive experience in software implementation and integration projects, preferably in a fintech or technology-driven environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management Experience: Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Legacy System Integration: Experience working with legacy systems, improving existing integrations, and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage changing client needs and priorities.
  • Financial Technology (FinTech) Experience: Familiarity with the fintech industry and an understanding of financial wellbeing initiatives is highly desirable.

Working Policy: We operate under a hybrid policy, requiring 3 days a week in our London office.
