About the Role

At Tandem Health, we are building a future where health and technology move seamlessly together — and we are growing fast. As we prepare for significant growth, we are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to join our team.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in the dynamic environment of scaling startups. You’ll be our first dedicated finance hire — a true "one-person army" to establish and build the finance function from the ground up.

You'll manage everything finance-related: from accounting coordination to KPI ownership to fundraising support. You'll partner closely with leadership, external partners, and our growing team to ensure Tandem has the financial insight and discipline needed to realize our bold vision.

We’re looking for someone who has seen startup growth journeys before - country expansions, messy realities, and exciting milestones. If you’re energized by early-stage environments, excited to build systems, and ready to roll up your sleeves, we’d love to meet you!

What you will do:

• Act as the single point of contact for external accounting partners, overseeing bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial operations across countries.

• Own key financial KPIs (ARR, user growth, burn rate) and deliver regular, actionable reporting to leadership and investors.

• Build and maintain FP&A models, historical data, and financial narratives to support fundraising and board discussions.

• Design scalable finance systems to support international expansion and rapid team growth.

• Partner cross-functionally with leadership, People, Ops, and Product teams to align financial planning with business goals.

What you bring:

• Proven experience building finance functions inside early-stage SaaS B2B companies, supporting growth and expansion in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments

• Strong financial operations and strategic modeling skills coupled with experience with SaaS metrics (ARR, retention, CAC), FP&A, and investor readiness.

• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to move fluidly between day-to-day execution and long-term planning.

• Clear communicator and collaborative partner with the ability to distill financial insights into clear, actionable guidance for leadership and investors

• Growth mindset, adaptability, and a genuine passion for Tandem Health’s mission.

Bonus Points

• Experience supporting international finance operations (multi-country invoicing, compliance, etc.)

• Exposure to the health-tech or digital health sectors

• CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications (not required)

Location

We believe the best ideas happen when we’re together. This role is based in our vibrant HQ in the Epicenter building in the heart of Stockholm where you will work primarily from our office to collaborate, connect, and build our culture.
