3 billion people across the world work in frontline jobs. Yet, despite rising costs and staff shortages, frontline organisations are still left to choose between paper, Excel, and WhatsApp, or decade-old workforce management solutions to take care of the most important part of their businesses - their people.

Enter Sona: the next generation of AI-native, frontline workforce management. We’ve built an end-to-end platform covering Scheduling, HR, Payroll, and Communications that gives the largest frontline organisations everything they need to staff more intelligently and empower their teams.

In under 4 years, we’ve already made a deep impact on the lives of over 100k frontline workers and the operation of their organisations, grown the team to 120+, and secured over $50M in funding from notable VC’s, including Felicis, Northzone, Gradient Ventures (Google), SpeedInvest, Antler, and Notion Capital, plus notable angels like Tom Blomfield (Monzo).

It’s a hugely exciting time to be joining the team as we’re still small enough that you’ll have a significant impact on the company’s growth trajectory and culture, yet large enough to have a great structure, experienced leaders and world-class benefits in place. More on working at Sona here.

About the Role

At Sona, the Talent team’s mission is to make the strongest possible hires for every position in the team, without compromising on speed. In this role, you’ll directly support that mission by leading the outbound strategy for our most complex and urgent hires as our first Talent Partner focused on sourcing.

With a global and business-wide remit, it’s an opportunity to work closely with a small, experienced Talent team, and senior leaders, to engage the strongest candidates out there through an exceptional story and employer brand paired with high quality outbound strategy. It’s an ideal role for someone excited about building a sourcing engine that can be hugely impactful in shaping the team in a high performing startup.

To excel, you’ll need to get to know our business inside out, be energised by tough searches, and love the process of finding great people and helping them get excited about what we’re building.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you will:

  • Build high-quality outbound pipelines for our 2–3 most critical roles across all teams and geographies.

  • Own the market maps, target company lists, and reporting that underpin the sourcing function.

  • Build and nurture priority talent pools that support our future hires, including referrals, repeat hires, and diverse talent.

  • Contribute to candidate-facing content and collateral to strengthen the employer brand you take to market.

  • Implement AI and other tools to scale outbound sourcing.

  • Expand into owning end-to-end hiring when volume is high.

Requirements

Everyone is different, but lots of these should apply to you:

  • Proven experience sourcing for complex, high-bar roles, agency or in-house, ideally for early-stage tech companies

  • Skilled in market mapping and consistently on the lookout for ways to improve your outbound approach.

  • Enjoy the challenge of a tough search and recognise the impact great hiring has on our success

  • Comfortable using data to consistently improve your process and communicate progress.

  • Curious and commercially minded, you want to learn about how our business works and the 'why' behind every hire.

Benefits

  • Salary: £50-60k

  • Fully remote and flexible working (but you’re welcome in our London office!)

  • Share options

  • 35 days annual leave (25 days standard plus 10 flexible public holiday days)

  • Extra day of leave for every year of service

  • Pension contributions matched up to 5%

  • Comprehensive health insurance

  • Enhanced parental leave & pay

  • Co-working space stipend for those based outside London

  • Bi-annual all expenses paid team retreats
