3 billion people across the world work in frontline jobs. Yet, despite rising costs and staff shortages, frontline organisations are still left to choose between paper, Excel, and WhatsApp, or decade-old workforce management solutions to take care of the most important part of their businesses - their people.

Enter Sona: the next generation of AI-native, frontline workforce management. We’ve built an end-to-end platform covering Scheduling, HR, Payroll, and Communications that gives the largest frontline organisations everything they need to staff more intelligently and empower their teams.

In under 4 years, we’ve already made a deep impact on the lives of over 100k frontline workers and the operation of their organisations, grown the team to 110+, and secured over $50M in funding from notable VC’s, including Felicis, Northzone, Gradient Ventures (Google), SpeedInvest, Antler, and Notion Capital, plus notable angels like Tom Blomfield (Monzo).

It’s a hugely exciting time to be joining the team as we’re still small enough that you’ll have a significant impact on the company’s growth trajectory and culture, yet large enough to have a great structure, experienced leaders and world-class benefits in place. More on working at Sona here.

About the Role

As an Account Executive at Sona, you'll own the full sales lifecycle for mid-to-enterprise sized customers in our core frontline sectors - Social Care, Hospitality or Retail, working closely with our founders, Chief Sales Officer, and a high-performing marketing team.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be a high-performer who consistently meets and exceeds targets, understands the unique problems faced by frontline organisations, and is excited to bring high-quality software to a huge, high-demand market.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you'll:

  • Drive revenue growth within mid-market/enterprise segments in the Social Care vertical

  • Manage the full lifecycle sales, from prospecting to close, and ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target accounts

  • Represent Sona at industry events and conferences to drive pipeline activity and build brand awareness

  • Collaborate with our Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to develop and execute campaigns, support successful onboarding, and share feedback that can improve our products

Requirements

Please note this role will require you to be in the London office two days a week.

We don’t have strict requirements but hopefully lots of the following apply to you:

  • Experienced in selling complex software solutions with multiple products to C-suite and senior stakeholders.

  • You've sold SaaS to Operations or Finance leaders, ideally in the workforce management sector.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a high-growth, B2B SaaS environment.

  • Able to collaborate effectively with the wider team, including marketing, product and customer success.

  • You thrive in a fast growing start up environment, where we don’t have all the answers but work collaboratively to move things forward at speed.

Benefits:

  • Base salary of £60k-£125k + 100% target bonus (uncapped)

    • Depending on experience and will be discussed/assessed throughout the interview process.

  • Share options

  • 35 days annual leave (25 days standard plus 10 flexible public holiday days)

  • Extra day of leave for every year of service

  • Pension contributions matched up to 5%

  • Comprehensive health insurance

  • Enhanced parental leave & pay

  • Co-working space stipend for those based outside London

  • Bi-annual all expenses paid team retreats

  • The latest Macbook and equipment budget for your home office

  • Professional development budget

  • Unlimited free books
