The Mission of Your Role

As Safello’s Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our products and services. You will work closely with our CEO, CTO, and senior leadership to define the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and market demands. This role is pivotal in driving product innovation, enhancing user experience, and ensuring that Safello remains at the forefront of the cryptocurrency space both towards retail customers, businesses, and financial institutions.

As CPO, you will lead the product team, guiding all aspects of product development, design, and strategy. You will be a key driver in building and launching groundbreaking products that cater to both experienced users and newcomers in the cryptocurrency market. This role is essential for Safello’s continued growth and success as a trusted platform in the financial and cryptocurrency sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision: Define and lead Safello’s product strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s long-term goals and meets the evolving needs of our users.

User-Centered Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and customer support, to develop innovative products that offer seamless and intuitive user experiences.

Market Research & Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and conduct market research to identify new opportunities, drive product development, and ensure competitive differentiation.

Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.

Agile Product Development: Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, utilizing agile methodologies to deliver timely and impactful solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulators, to ensure product alignment and compliance within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Product Metrics & KPIs: Establish and monitor key performance metrics to assess product success, user adoption, and market impact, driving continuous improvements.

About You
To succeed in this role, you should bring:

- A degree in business, product management, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced product management certification is a plus.

- 10+ years of experience in product leadership roles, preferably in fintech, technology, or high-growth industries.

- A proven track record of leading product innovation and development, with a focus on user-centered design and delivering products that exceed customer expectations.

- Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services industries.

- Expertise in agile development, product lifecycle management, and data-driven product strategies.

- Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and inspire both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- A visionary and strategic mindset, with the ability to execute and lead teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications

- Experience in the cryptocurrency or blockchain space.

- A background in highly regulated industries, ensuring product compliance and alignment with regulatory frameworks.

- Experience in scaling product teams and launching products in global markets.

- Proficiency in Swedish.
