Job Description

Mission

Reporting to the Chief Customer & Operations Officer, the Head of China Operations will be responsible for all customer operations in Chinese marketplaces, social media, and ecommerce platforms.

As a corporate leader, the Head of China Operations will also help define Red Points’ overall strategy for the Chinese market together with the company’s Executive team.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Participating with the HQ and management team in the continued development and implementation of the business plan and strategic direction for the company with a specific focus on operations, sales, intellectual property and online market.

  • Ensuring understanding and pursuit of organizational vision, values and company philosophy, such as value creation, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and mutual respect in all areas of the organization.

  • Researching and developing strategies and plans to identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new product introductions.

  • Managing, in close collaboration with marketing, various sales and marketing activities to further penetrate the market to obtain additional growth and market shares.

  • Developing and implementing key account strategies for existing and new accounts.

  • Managing the local China team operations on a day-to-day basis. Define the keywords strategy.

  • Hiring new employees, establishing performance objectives, goals and criteria, evaluating performance, and identifying opportunities for growth and development.

  • Providing support and direction to the team in the development and accomplishment of goals, objectives, and action plans.

  • Build and manage stakeholders with China based platforms, social media platforms etc.

  • Preparing strategy reviews, reviewing proposals, and preparing necessary supporting documentation. Recommending courses of corrections, if necessary,

  • Developing and managing sales and marketing budgets and ensuring the development and management of internal operating budgets.

  • Establishing communication with the various departments at the headquarters (Sales, HR, Finance, Support, Operations…).

  • Implementing and activating the use of Customers Global Relationship Management System.

Our perfect match...

  • University degree in Law or Commerce.

  • Industry experience in intellectual property, e-commerce, technology or adjacent business-to-business environments.

  • Experience with active use of CRM systems is a must.

  • Bilingual (Chinese and English).

  • Dynamic, confident, driven, and articulate leader who interacts effectively at all levels of the organization, with an ability to forge high trust relationships.

  • Hungry for results and will be comfortable getting into the details to build and execute plans.

  • Experience with training, developing and motivating people.
