We help companies get compensation right.
What we get paid at work has a massive impact on our lives, and it’s one of the biggest factors in hiring and retaining talent - and yet so many companies struggle to get it right. They simply have no choice but to rely on poor data and unsophisticated tools for their pay decisions. That’s why we created Ravio.
We help many of the world’s most innovative and ambitious companies build stronger teams and reach their goals through better compensation. Our real-time data platform brings compensation into the modern age with clarity and transparency.
We’re passionate about ensuring everyone is paid what they deserve, no matter their background or circumstances. We believe that when compensation is done right, everyone wins.
Ravio is growing fast, which means you can too. Joining a startup in the early days and scaling it into a global product is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences a career can offer. If that sounds exciting to you, you’re in the right place.

We’re hiring a Senior Data Scientist to bring innovative data science to the world of compensation. Ravio is a data business, making this role pivotal in shaping how the our core product is generated, interpreted, and delivered.
You’ll work on challenging problems at the intersection of statistics and machine learning, uncovering the factors that determine pay across industries, roles, and markets. This is a hands-on role where analytical expertise meets commercial impact, helping build models that are robust, interpretable, and deliver meaningful value. You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to transform complex datasets into scalable, customer-facing products.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling ambiguous problems, messy real-world data, and turning rigorous analysis into practical, impactful solutions.

Analyze complex datasets: Explore large, real-world datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
Build statistical and ML models: Design models that power Ravio’s compensation insights, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and interpretability.
Own modelling pipelines end-to-end: Build, deploy, and maintain scalable pipelines as data and product usage grow.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to integrate data science capabilities into products.
Communicate insights clearly: Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Continuously improve: Refine models, methodologies, and data processes over time for better quality and impact.
You’ll Thrive Here If You…
Hold a Masters or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Economics, or a related field
Have strong foundations in statistics, modelling, and machine learning
Are experienced with messy real-world datasets
Are proficient in Python and libraries like pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn
