The Role

As a Founding Sales Development Representative you will join our Commercial Team, being responsible for setting up our SDR function from scratch, driving top-of-funnel pipeline, and partnering closely with the teams to test, learn, and scale what works.

Ravio has already established a strong product-market fit, and this role will focus on amplifying that success by owning our SDR motion. You will work directly with leadership, AEs, RevOps and Marketing to shape and refine our pipeline engine. Still, you will have a high level of autonomy and ownership, and we are looking to you to own creative testing, data-driven insights, and playbook ideas on what will drive top of funnel and set up the motion for success.

Being self-driven and highly people oriented is a must. You’ll be the first voice many prospects hear from Ravio, so you’ll combine high-volume, high-quality outbound activity (especially calling) with a personable, consultative approach that positions Ravio professionally and builds genuine interest.

This role is focused on building a repeatable outbound engine – from bringing your expertise, to experimenting with messaging and channels, and to creating and refining SDR playbooks – with the potential to grow into a senior or leadership position as the function scales. What we’re looking for

  • Research, identify and approach potential customers in the tech industry in our key segments, with a strong focus on mid-market accounts

  • Execute high-volume, high-quality outbound activities (calls, emails, social) to generate qualified opportunities for our Account Executives

  • Partner closely with AEs to build targeted account lists, craft outreach strategies, and continuously refine our ideal customer profile

  • Test, iterate and document what works (and what doesn’t) across messaging, channels and cadences, helping to build an outbound playbook from scratch

  • Maintain clean, accurate records in HubSpot and report on key SDR metrics to inform strategy and prioritisation

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps and the wider Commercial team to improve campaigns, automate workflows and optimise conversion across the funnel

  • Represent Ravio as the “first face” of the company, providing a personable, consultative and professional experience to all prospects


Your Key Skills

  • Several years of experience as an SDR in B2B SaaS, consistently generating pipeline and working closely alongside AEs

  • A proven track record of outbound prospecting at scale, with strong phone presence and resilience in a high-activity environment

  • A creative, experiment-driven mindset, with the ability to quickly test, learn and adjust when something isn’t working

  • Strong analytical skills and a numbers-driven approach; you’re comfortable owning your metrics, reporting on performance and using data to improve

  • A natural, personable communication style that builds rapport quickly and represents the brand thoughtfully

  • Experience working cross-functionally (e.g. with Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success) and an interest in shaping how the SDR function operates

  • Ambition to grow your career by helping to build a function from the ground up, with potential to later step into a senior or leadership SDR position

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Level P4

    • £50,000 - £80,000 base salary (70-115k OTE aligned with a high-impact SDR role, with uncapped variable potential)

Compensation Range: £50K - £80K
