The Role
We are looking to hire a QC & Logistics Executive at our Melbourne office. You will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments to and from the office.
The main goal is to ensure that diamonds come in and out of the Melbourne office in the shortest delay, while ensuring that all diamonds are up to quality standards

What you'll do
Shipping & Logistics
Accurately handle, inspect, quality check, and repack incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all data is promptly updated in the Nivoda system.
Create and manage shipments through the Nivoda platform, including generating and dispatching shipping labels to suppliers for timely delivery.
Receive consolidated shipments via Brinks, Ferrari, and FedEx, and follow up on any shipment delays or discrepancies.
Mark all received orders accurately in the Nivoda system.
Customer & Supplier Interaction
Hand-deliver diamonds to local customers when required, ensuring a professional and secure exchange.
Collect diamonds from local suppliers, perform quality checks, and package items for subsequent shipment or delivery.
Liaise directly with suppliers to manage shipments and ensure prompt forwarding of invoices to the finance department.
Assist the Customer Support team with shipment-related queries, urgent delivery requests, and order updates.
Office Operations & Support
Assist in the smooth day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a productive and organized working environment.
Support administrative tasks including document handling, office supply management, and general operational coordination.
Process returned diamonds from customers, ensuring quality control and proper documentation.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in local office processes, collaborating with team members and management to implement efficient and scalable solutions.
What you'll need
Prior experience in logistics, operations, or a similar field preferred.
Basic knowledge of Diamond Quality Control (QC) and handling standards.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency with logistics software or platforms is a plus.
