The next ten years of AI will not be won in software. They will be won in the physical world. In factories, hospitals, kitchens, fields, and homes. The companies that own that data will own the century.

microagi is building it. We are the data layer for physical AI.

You own hardware. The roadmap, the team, and the road from the device sitting on the bench today to units coming off a line in volume. We build wearable capture hardware that goes into factories, hospitals, and kitchens, and it has to work every day in all of them.

What You Will Do

  • Own the hardware roadmap from current prototypes through volume production.
  • Lead the hardware team across electronics, mechanical, firmware, and test.
  • Make the build decisions. Suppliers, contract manufacturers, tooling, cost targets, schedule.
  • Take designs through EVT, DVT, PVT, certification, and ramp.
  • Set the quality bar and the test strategy that holds it at volume.
  • Work with the software and research teams so hardware choices produce the data we actually need.

Requirements

  • You have shipped hardware at volume. Units in the millions, not hundreds.
  • You have led a hardware team through a full program, from concept to mass production.
  • Deep manufacturing and supply chain knowledge. You know what a part costs and what changing it costs.
  • You own schedule and budget, and you say no when the schedule cannot absorb another change.
  • Willing to travel to suppliers and factories.
  • High agency - you don't wait to be told what to do.
  • Fluent in English.
  • German is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Wearable or camera-based consumer products.
  • Experience running programs with Asian contract manufacturers.
  • Certification experience across CE, FCC, and regional equivalents.
