The next ten years of AI will not be won in software. They will be won in the physical world. In factories, hospitals, kitchens, fields, and homes. The companies that own that data will own the century.

microagi is building it. We are the data layer for physical AI.

You own the last stage before data leaves the building. Everything upstream produces annotations. You take them, put them in the shape the customer asked for, check them, and ship. The requirements change per customer and often change mid-delivery. This is a job for someone who writes the script that works today, not the framework that would be elegant next quarter.

What You Will Do

  • Own the final post-processing stage. Merge, format, validate, package, ship.
  • Write the per-customer transforms, and rewrite them when the spec moves.
  • Build the checks that catch bad data before the customer sees it.
  • Fix problems the same day they appear, then decide later what deserves to become permanent.
  • Keep this stage fast enough that it is never the reason a delivery is late.

Requirements

  • Strong Python. You write something that works quickly and can debug code you did not write.
  • Comfortable with messy formats and files too large to open.
  • You optimize for shipping. Clean code is nice. Delivered data is the job.
  • Careful with detail. A silent formatting error is worse than a crash.
  • High agency - you don't wait to be told what to do.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with video, point clouds, or other large binary formats.
  • Data validation and schema tooling.
  • You have worked against customer specs that changed under you.
