We partner with food and FMCG companies to save products at risk of going to waste by re-selling them at discounted prices directly to consumers: sustainable, affordable and accessible to all. Today, our shops are open in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany and Austria.

We are now looking for a temporary accountant to cover for a maternity leave between February and September 2025. In this role you will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day accounting throughout all subsidiaries as well as month-end reconciliation. You will be a part of our finance team consisting of accountants, controllers and our CFO and you will be reporting to the Head of Group Accounting.
What you’ll do as an Accountant
- Issue B2B invoices
- Support in AP flow
- Prepare journal entries
- Tax reconciliation and reporting
- Reconcile balance accounts, bank accounts and sales
- Be a part in the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
To be successful in this role, we believe you need to have
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
- To be a professional user of MS Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong written and spoken English and Swedish skills
- At least 3 years of working experience in a relevant field
- Experience of working in Netsuite is a plus
- Experience of working with entities in Germany, Finland and Denmark is a plus.
