As a Merchandiser at Matsmart

Analytically and commercially minded with a strong e-commerce trading mentality, you will support optimizing the product performance on site. You will work very closely with the senior Merchandiser in Sweden, but also with our two senior Merchandisers for Denmark and Finland, and the CRM manager, and you have direct responsibility for:

• Analysis of on-site product performance

• Working closely with the other merch to set up campaigns and promotions, brief the design team

• Reporting on promotion and campaign performance

• Site categorisation, optimizing product placement, product ranking and customer journey, search and conversion

• Optimizing pricing and multipack to drive sales

• Owning newsletter activity in Sweden, working closely with the CRM Manager

• Participate in the testing and implementation of all new feature releases for the product team and platform

• Work closely with other departments: mainly purchasers but also marketing, design and customer services to align merchandising strategies with overall business goals.

• You will work with key stakeholders in the wider global and market teams, sharing knowledge and insights with peers.

To be successful in this role, we believe you

• Have strong analytical problem solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights

• Are currently an experienced Assistant Merchandiser, or Junior merchandiser

• Have at least two years of e-commerce merchandising or CRM experience in a fast-paced, digital retail business

• Are comfortable with being proactive and taking initiative

• Have the confidence to collaborate and develop strong relationships across the organization

• Have a logical approach to testing & adopting continuous improvement

• Are a strong collaborator and communicator

• Are fluent in English (mandatory). Proficiency in Swedish is preferred. However, candidates with expertise in Danish or Finnish will also be considered.
