We are seeking a Staff Frontend Designer & Engineer to spearhead the creation of the customer-facing UI/UX for LogicStar’s AI agents, building the initial version and iterating based on user feedback. You will be the first employee fully focused on and owning the engineering part of the customer-facing product of LogicStar AI. You will work directly with our CPO and Chief Architect and interface both with our back-end team and the customer’s agents team. Later on, you’ll have the option to lead an expanding team, scaling integrations and driving rapid product evolution. This role combines hands-on engineering, product design and shaping the foundation of a cutting-edge AI platform.

Key responsibilities:

• UI/UX Design & Engineering:
  • Design and implement the rapidly evolving versions of the AI agent interface, prioritizing user experience and seamless interaction with backend systems
  • Iterate on the UI/UX based on feedback from internal stakeholders and early users
• Technical Leadership:
  • Architect scalable customer-facing solutions that deal with multiple integrations (e.g., APIs, third-party tools) and ensure system reliability and product responsiveness
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to align UI/UX with agent capabilities (e.g., real-time feedback, and adaptive workflows)
  • Work with our CPO to define roadmaps and prioritize features
• Code Quality & Best Practices:
  • Ability to produce and maintain clean, maintainable code and enforce standards for testing, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines. As well as quickly prototype and test new ideas
  • Optimize performance for real-time interactions and large-scale deployments

Mandatory qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in JS/TS and modern JS/TS frameworks i.e. React, Node, and optionally others
  • Experience with full-stack development, including RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP or similar)
• Design Skills:
  • Proficiency and good understanding of typography, color schemes, layout, composition, responsive design, iconography, and imagery
  • Expertise in modern CSS frameworks e.g. Bootstrap or similar: using and customizing the right components for the job
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools and mocking UI e.g. in Figma or similar
• Personality:
  • Strong problem-solving skills, passion for innovation, and end-to-end ownership mindset
  • Ability to work and deliver autonomously
  • Curious to try different approaches and designs and iterate on what works best
  • Stubborn to deal with CSS hell in order to achieve great UI
• Communication:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Background in agile methodologies and iterative development
  • Interest in joining customer meetings and gathering first-hand feedback and requirements from users

Nice-to-Have Skills

• An AI native development mindset and experience e.g. working/learning with tools like Cursor, AI Agents, and the wide range of new AI for code tools
• Experience with real-time systems or autonomous agents
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Docker) or MLOps frameworks
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration and data pipelines
• Background in fast prototyping and product evolution ideally in a start-up environment
• Interest in leading the expansion of the full-stack engineering team, hiring and mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a culture of collaboration and best practices
