Livepeer combines a blockchain-based crypto-token protocol with economic incentives and an open media server. It provides a decentralized video live streaming platform with the peer-to-peer networks and the blockchain. Eric Tang and Douglas Petkanics founded it in 2017, with its head in New York City.
