The Role

You’ll join the Finance team, reporting to the VP Finance and be a key part in helping to support the growth of our business. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including producing long-term business plans/summary financials, developing company forecasts and detailed budgets with appropriate analysis of variances, sensitivities, risks and opportunities, as well as working alongside other teams on key business projects.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning (Income Statement/Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
  • Prepare monthly forecasts, drivers, and variance analysis. Continuously improving monthly forecast and variance analysis, leveraging and enhancing capabilities of existing tools and process improvements.
  • Lead/assist in regular external & internal financial information reporting including summary financials, business unit analyses, KPIs, commentaries, performance metrics and trend analyses
  • Building, monitoring and maintaining product economic models across all portfolio products
  • Aligning sales commission, revenue sharing and partner commissions to product economic and profitability. Supporting commercial function across all initiatives.
  • Working across the business on a range of commercial and strategic projects
  • Considerable and relevant Financial Planning & Analysis / Business Partnering / Commercial Finance / Accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills ~ best practice in model design and build
  • Strong attention to detail and determination with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills that encompass clear, compelling communications both oral & written
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial & great attention to detail. You are a strong team player who is not afraid of pitching in and getting their hands dirty
  • You are someone who wants ownership, autonomy, is a self-starter and can make great things happen, quickly!
  • Preferred but not required: Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Preferred but not required: FinTech or Financial Services industry experience
