About Kota

Kota is reimagining insurance and retirement benefits for the modern workforce. Through our two flagship products—Kota Platform, the first fully integrated benefits platform, and Kota Embed, our embedded insurance solution—we're making benefits more accessible, valued, and global.

Today, we power benefits for tens of thousands of employees at Europe's most forward-thinking companies, including Carwow, Tines, Zoe, and Remote. Founded in 2022, we've raised more than €20M from leading investors like EQT Ventures, Eurazeo, Northzone, and Frontline, along with founders and executives from Workday, Remote, Personio, OpenAI, and more.

The Role

As Kota’s renewal specialist, you will own and shape the end-to-end renewal process across the business. You will work across multiple geographies and product lines, managing complex multi-provider renewals for some of Europe’s most high-profile employers.

This is a role with real ownership. Renewals are a core part of our benefits business, where we demonstrate value, retain trust and grow revenue. You will become a trusted partner to our clients and partners, driving process and internal collaboration from initial discovery through to market review, pricing negotiation, proposal delivery, contracting and go-live.

You will also define the renewal playbook as we scale, building repeatable processes, tooling and documentation that allow Kota to handle a rapidly growing book of business while maintaining the quality that our clients expect.

The role will be based in Dublin.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee renewals process. Own full lifecycle of renewals across multiple markets, products (health, life, income protection, travel, and pension) and providers

  • Lead client relationships on renewal topics. Ensure alignment between Kota, the client, the insurer and any local intermediary partners, as well our Embed partners

  • Maintain relationships with insurance partners. Coordinate with insurer and intermediary partners on pricing submissions and negotiations, entity changes, BoR transfers and commission arrangements

  • Build and refine renewal playbook. Establish standardised timelines, templates, checklists and workflows that ensure every renewal is executed consistently and on time, with full documentation

  • Collaborate with internal teams. Work closely with Customer Success, Benefits Consultants, Embed, Expansions and Compliance teams to ensure a seamless client experience through the renewal period

  • Provide continued feedback on product experience. Partner with the Product team to define and improve the in-product renewal experience, supporting the move towards a scalable, tech-enabled renewal flow

  • Support best-in-class compliance. Provide regulated health insurance information to clients during the renewal process. Ensure all renewal activity meets Central Bank of Ireland regulatory requirements, FCA requirements and Kota’s internal compliance standards

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser), plus APA (Accredited Product Adviser) in Health Insurance. Full qualification, not grandfathered

  • 3+ years of experience in health insurance renewals, group risk or employee benefits, ideally within a broker, insurer or insurtech environment

  • Strong understanding of the Irish and UK group health insurance markets, with exposure to international/IPMI schemes being a distinct advantage

  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder renewal processes, including insurer negotiations, pricing analysis and client-facing proposal delivery

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a large renewal calendar and multiple concurrent processes

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across Benefits, Product, Customer Success and Expansions teams

Preferred:

  • Experience with embedded insurance or partnership-driven distribution models

  • Familiarity with international health markets (UAE, India, Singapore, continental Europe) and working with intermediary networks

  • Experience contributing to product or process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, technology-first environment

Our Values

  • Have Integrity. We care deeply about our why and it won’t jeopardise our how.

  • Care Deeply. Our products are our story, we look at the details, go the extra mile to delight customers.

  • Own Your Ship. Ask why, do the work, get the data, solve the problem, be an owner.

  • Raise the Bar. We continuously look to push past good enough. Expect more, move faster, and never stop raising your and the team’s standards.

  • Play to Win. We exist because we decided to say no to the norm – now we do this everyday.
