Who we are
Katana is a remote-first SaaS company building powerful inventory and manufacturing software for 1,500+ businesses that make and sell physical products around the world.
We take a thoughtful, AI-first approach to how we work — not because it’s trendy, but because it frees us up. We use AI to eliminate repetitive tasks so our team can focus on what really matters: thinking creatively, experimenting boldly, and making meaningful impact every single day.
We’ve just stepped into an exciting new phase of expansion — moving beyond small manufacturers and into a larger market of modern, multi-channel, and multi-location businesses. With that growth comes bigger opportunities, more complex challenges, and the chance to help shape how we scale. Our 100+ person team across 15+ countries is building what’s next — together.
And that’s where you come in.

Why this role matters
At Katana, we hire for impact — not just role fit.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you'll play a meaningful role in Product Marketing, directly influencing how customers understand, adopt, and get value from what we build. This role exists because Katana ships product continuously and the gap between what we build and what customers understand, adopt, and value is a go-to-market problem that needs to be closed. It's designed for someone who wants to create real outcomes, not just execute tasks.
This is a role for someone who is ready to own their workstream, execute with precision, and grow into a strategic contributor. You'll work within established GTM frameworks while bringing fresh thinking to how we communicate with customers — using Claude and other AI tools to work at a pace and quality level that would have taken twice the headcount a few years ago.
Your role at its core
As Product Marketing Manager, you will:
Own product launch execution — develop and execute comprehensive GTM activities for product launches, including clear positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with Katana's customers; use Claude and other AI tools to accelerate drafting, iterate on messaging variants, and maintain quality at pace
Own customer communications — manage the cadence and content of customer-facing communications, ensuring a consistent and effective communication flow that keeps customers informed and moves them toward adoption
Develop launch assets — create the messaging and materials required for each launch: customer-facing content, in-product messaging, and supporting collateral
Coordinate cross-functional execution — work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align on launch objectives and deliverables; facilitate communication between teams to keep execution on track and flag misalignment early
Track and optimise GTM performance — define KPIs for GTM activities, monitor their effectiveness in driving product awareness, adoption, and revenue, and refine strategies continuously based on data and feedback
The impact you'll drive
Your impact will show up through outcomes such as:
Launch quality and consistency
Every product launch has a clear messaging narrative, complete asset set, and on-schedule execution
Customer-facing content is accurate, on-brand, and differentiated
Customer communication effectiveness
Customers receive timely, relevant communications that move them toward adoption
Communication cadence is maintained without gaps or duplication
Cross-functional execution
Launch deliverables land on time across all contributing teams
Stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the launch cycle
Performance and continuous improvement
GTM KPIs are tracked and reported consistently
Insights from each launch feed into smarter execution next time
Your first opportunities for impact
In your first 3–6 months, you can expect to:
Execute product launches with full messaging and asset coverage
Maintain a customer communications calendar
Achieve measurable open/engagement rate targets on customer launch communications (baseline to be set in first 30 days)
Deliver a post-launch performance report for every major release within 30 days of launch
We aim to be transparent about where you can make a difference — and where your ideas are expected.
You'll be successful in this role if…
You have experience with:
Executing product launches end-to-end in a B2B SaaS environment — from messaging brief to live assets — within a defined GTM framework, with a demonstrated track record of managing complex launches from strategy to execution
Writing clear, compelling product-focused content for customer audiences: release notes, in-product messaging, and customer emails — with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Using Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent AI tools as a genuine productivity layer — not occasionally, but as a default part of how you draft, research, and iterate
Using customer communication and user onboarding platforms (Intercom or similar) to manage in-product messaging, launch announcements, and customer communication cadences
Coordinating across Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver shared launch outcomes on schedule, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
Applying market research techniques, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform messaging and positioning decisions
Tracking GTM performance metrics using marketing automation tools and CRM systems, and translating data into clear, actionable summaries
What we offer
We aim to create an environment where people can do their best work — and feel supported while doing it.
Market-aligned compensation, tied to your role scope and impact.
Employee Stock Option Program, so you share in the value you help build
Time off that’s genuinely encouraged: 4 weeks days of PTO, 3 paid health days annually, and your birthday off - because it should actually feel like a day off.
Fully paid 1-month Sabbatical + 1000 EUR travel budget after every four years at Katana — time to reset, explore, or focus on personal growth
Home office stipend to help you create a setup that works for you
Health & wellness support, via Sun Life insurance or a flexible wellness allowance
Modern tools and tech, including AI-enabled tools that help you work smarter and stay focused on high-impact work
