Partner Success Manager

Are you skilled at building effective relationships both inside and outside of Katana, advocating for the needs of our partners and the team? As an effective communicator and expert in daily processes and tools, the Partner Success Manager provides valuable insights on growing the partner ecosystem and improving collaboration across teams. If you're eager to be at the heart of it all, this is your opportunity!

Let’s build loveable software that makes business processes effortless.

Who we are

We believe the future is a tech stack of integrated best-of-breed SaaS products, with Katana at the center.

Since 2017, we've given businesses worldwide a live look at their inventory, uniting all the processes and tools they use with intuitive and easy-to-use cloud inventory software. Our customers range from mom-and-pop shops to multi-million-dollar businesses. To date, we raised over $51 million in funding from VC firms and angel investors who, like us, believe the inventory software space needs more love.

Besides great user experience and top-tier customer support, Katana is also industry-agnostic and scalable. The companies that grow with Katana come from almost any industry you can think of, and our software is designed to plug and play with any existing system of tools manufacturers use.

Who we’re looking for

As a Partner Success Manager, you will play a key role in empowering our partners to deploy Katana with our mutual clients successfully. Your focus will be on building strong business relationships, supporting active partners, and driving the utilization of the Katana platform. The primary focus of this role involves collaborating closely with partners and clients to scope and refine workflows, ensuring that each implementation meets its intended goals and provides significant value to end-users. Additionally, you will engage with internal product and go-to-market teams to bring partner feedback forward, driving changes to our product and marketing efforts.

Your typical week would include:

  • Empower partners to manage the implementation of the Katana Cloud Inventory through training, resources, and ongoing support. Build out training programs to increase implementation partners’ competence in working with Katana and our customer base.
  • Oversee and facilitate the implementation process, ensuring that partners are well-equipped to execute projects effectively. Evaluate success of partner projects which will provide insight into partner performance or skillsets.
  • Once an implementation partner is identified as a need with a potential lead, meet with the client, meet the scope requirements, and pitch an appropriate partner. Identify what is and isn’t possible given customer requirements/scope. These leads will typically work with more complex workflows, requirements and API needs.
  • Monitor implementation progress, intervening as necessary to address challenges and facilitate solutions—both challenges raised by the customer and roadblocks facing relevant partners.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between partners, clients, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from partners and clients during implementation and provide insights to the product team to influence the roadmap and internal processes.

You’re the perfect fit if you

  • Strong understanding of inventory/ERP systems, particularly in e-commerce, inventory management, and manufacturing.
  • Track record of building strong customer and partner relationships
  • Proven ability to facilitate complex projects with multiple stakeholders across various organizations.
  • Ability to succinctly communicate and lead project discussions across varying levels of the organization
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving orientation and a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in training and supporting partners in a technology-driven environment.
  • Are knowledgeable about industry trends and best practices and hungry for continuous experimentation and advancement.

What we offer

  • Opportunity to have real impact at a global growth company and chance to drive change in the inventory products space
  • Opportunity to work with an enthusiastic and talented global team
  • A competitive salary and employee stock option program (we want everybody to feel engaged and share the fruits of our collective effort)
  • Flexible and remote working options (we’re a results-driven team)
  • A team vibe to keep you smiling even on the rainiest days
  • Health & wellness package of your choice
