Our current itinerary
Senior HR Controlling & Analytics Manager with a focus on personnel cost controlling and people data analytics at Holidu in Munich, hybrid. A newly created role at the intersection of the Finance and People functions: build our personnel cost base, budgeting and forecasting from scratch, own our people dashboards, and prepare the HR reporting for the board.
Your future team
You will sit at the intersection of Finance and HR, reporting to our CFO to start with and working hand in hand with our VP People. This is a newly created position in which you will build personnel cost planning and tracking from the ground up rather than inherit them. From there the scope can gradually grow toward broader People Analytics and Total Rewards. You will work closely with our Financial Planning & Accounting, Talent Management and People Operations teams across our eight European markets, in a hybrid setup based in our Munich office.
Your role in this journey
- Build and own the personnel cost base for Holidu, covering headcount, cost planning and the budgeting logic behind both.
- Run monthly personnel cost tracking and forecasting per cost center, and flag any deviations versus budget in a timely manner.
- Take our people data from backward looking reports to forward looking metrics, for example to flag churn risk, forecast hiring capacity and cost trajectory.
- Prepare the people data story for board and leadership meetings, turning headcount, cost and retention trends into presentations that end in a decision.
- Design and own relevant internal data dashboards.
- Use AI tooling to automate the manual analysis and reporting work.
Your backpack is filled with
- At least 5 years of experience in an analytical or controlling function, for example as an FP&A Analyst, HR Controller, Business Controller, People Analytics or Total Rewards professional.
- Advanced modelling skills in Excel, including planning and forecasting models you have built and owned yourself.
- Proven hands-on experience with AI tools, with concrete examples of where they made your analysis or reporting faster.
- You spot what needs improving, proactively address it, set your own priorities and see it through, without waiting to be asked.
- You translate numbers for people who do not work with data all day: you ask which decision they need to make, then give them a recommendation they can act on and feel comfortable presenting them in leadership meetings.
- You take a second look before you send. In a role where numbers shape salary and headcount decisions, precision and discretion matter more than speed.
- Fluent English language skills, German language skills are a plus.
- Experience with Personio, SAP or BI tools such as Looker Studio are a plus.
