Your future team
You'll join Holidu's Brand & Creative team — a small, high-output crew of designers, brand & communication experts working across 8 European markets and multiple brands. The team sits within the Marketing organisation and partners closely with Performance Marketing, Product Marketing, and Local Sales teams. We're now looking for an AI-first, hands-on Lead Art Director to set the visual quality bar across performance marketing, landing pages, product videos, and brand initiatives.As Lead Art Director, you'll report to the Head of Brand & Creative and work directly with the Creative Studio. You'll be the creative benchmark leading through craft: producing exceptional work, defining creative standards, and elevating the team around you. A key part of the role will be building scalable AI-powered creative workflows that enable high-quality content production at speed.
Your role in this journey
Hands-On Production- Concept, produce, and iterate performance marketing ads (video/static for Google, Meta, TikTok) across multiple brands — from idea to final delivery and variations.
- Design and optimise landing pages for conversion.
- Lead video productions: planning, art direction, and post-production.
- Create explainer and tutorial videos for product features and services.
- Develop visual identities for brands and new product features.
- Own creative ops — take briefs from stakeholders, push back when needed, prioritise.
- Review and elevate design output across performance marketing, brand campaigns, and landing pages.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints: ads, social, web, and product — across markets.
- Inspire the design team through hands-on feedback, creative reviews and mentor on art direction, motion design, performance creative best practices.
- Build and scale AI-driven production workflows that multiply the team's creative output.
- Create frameworks and guidelines that enable stakeholders across the company to use AI for content creation.
- Optimise existing automation workflows for scale, connecting tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI platforms.
- Stay current on emerging AI tools and techniques and bring the best ones into the team's toolkit.
Your backpack is filled with
- 7+ years of experience in an in-house team at a tech company or at an agency with high production volume.
- Educational foundation (A degree in Visual communication design, visual arts, media design, or similar).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, advertising, hands-on motion design, video production, and web design projects. We want to see the work, not just the strategy.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Motion design expertise — this is non-negotiable. We need someone who thinks in movement, not just stills.
- Working experience with AI tools for content creation, and a genuine curiosity to push what's possible.
- Platform fluency — You understand creative requirements, formats, and marketing KPIs across Google, Meta, TikTok, and short-form video (Reels, Shorts).
- Agency or in-house creative team experience at a tech/product company is a strong plus.
- Experience with B2B/SaaS landing page design and conversion optimisation is a strong plus.
- Experience working across multiple brands or markets simultaneously is a strong plus.
- Fluency in English. German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Italian is a plus.
