Your future team

Holidu offers a software and service solution which helps hosts manage and distribute their properties more efficiently. Your team lead Elena has been part of Holidu from the very beginning and has extensive experience in the vacation rental industry in the Balearic Islands. Besides having a real impact on our partners on the islands, the team loves to eat Mexican food and to party together (sometimes even with the rest of the team in Munich).

Your role in this journey

This will be a sales-focussed role for the first 9 months and will afterwards transition into an Account Manager position.

Sales:
  • Reach out to vacation rental owners and execute sales strategies (mostly by cold calling) to find out if Holidu is the right solution for their needs.
  • Generate sales by handling all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Be rigorous in activity tracking and monitor your completion of monthly targets.
  • Conduct meetings with vacation rental owners: Either by going on business trips to your focus regions or by holding them remotely and gain valuable market insights.
  • Support the onboarding process of new team members and share your knowledge with other international sales teams at Holidu.
  • Help organize virtual and in-person events to promote Holidu and build a community of hosts.

Account Management:
  • Improve the performance of your accounts by analyzing existing data and develop a solution-oriented strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with our key-customers and actively support them in increasing revenues.
  • Be the main contact person for our vacation rental owners in the Balearic Islands, advise them on how to use our product and use your negotiation and upselling skills.
  • Organize lead generating and networking events (remote or in-person) to build a community of vacation rental owners.
  • Coordinate the going live of our vacation rentals and ensure a continuously high level of customer success oriented service.
  • Interact with our product and content team to guarantee a smooth onboarding process.

Your backpack is filled with

  • High level of self-motivation and ability to convince our vacation rental homeowners both on the phone (cold calling), in remote meetings and face to face.
  • Positive mindset towards new challenges and empathic personality that enables strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Solution-driven attitude and the ability to work in a responsible and organized way.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to remain friendly and calm in all situations.
  • Experience in sales or account management, travel industry or online business.
  • Near-native Spanish skills and fluent English.
  • Driver's license.
