Join our Italian Sales Team and become the first dedicated Sales Representative for the Lazio region, working remotely from Rome while reporting to our Florence office.

Your role in this journey

This role is a unique opportunity to open and develop a new active focus region for Holidu, Lazio.


You will act as the main commercial driver for the region, building the market from the ground up, from prospecting to closing, while staying closely connected to the Florence team.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Reach out to vacation rental owners and execute sales strategies, from cold calling to in-person meetings, to identify whether Holidu is the right solution for their needs.

  • Generate sales by handling the full sales cycle: prospecting (online and on the field by networking), qualification, demos, negotiation and closing.

  • Develop the Lazio market independently: identify key areas, create a strong pipeline and establish Holidu’s presence in the region.

  • Leverage your local presence in Rome and Lazio to build and develop a strong network of local stakeholders, including hosts, property managers, and relevant local partners.

  • Be rigorous in activity tracking and monitor your progress against monthly targets.

  • Conduct weekly (2-3 days/week) field visits across Lazio to gain valuable market insights and build relationships face-to-face.

  • Collaborate with the Florence office and the wider Italian Sales Team, sharing insights and best practices.

  • Support events and local initiatives to promote Holidu and build a community of hosts.

Contract & onboarding setup

This position is offered with:

  • Fixed-term contract (12 months)
    The role is initially offered on a fixed-term basis, in line with the current development phase of the Lazio market. Depending on business needs and individual performance, there may be an opportunity to discuss a transition to a permanent contract in the future.

  • Initial onboarding in Florence (first 1 to 2 months)
    During the ramp-up phase, you will spend time in the Florence office (travel and accommodation covered). The setup is flexible, for example:

    • 3 days per week in Florence for 1 to 2 months, or

    • a more intensive onboarding (for example 4 days per week for 1 month)

After onboarding, the role will be fully remote based in Rome, with regular trips in Lazio and occasional team moments in Florence.

Your backpack is filled with

  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to convince hosts both on the phone (cold calling) and face-to-face.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset. You enjoy building something new and taking ownership of a region.

  • A structured and responsible way of working, with strong organization and discipline in tracking activities and results.

  • Experience in sales or account management is preferred, ideally intermediate to senior, or a high-potential profile with a strong network in the travel and vacation rental sector.

  • Near-native Italian and fluent English skills.

  • Driver’s licence and personal vehicle (car preferred, motorbike or scooter also acceptable) to support regular trips across the region.

  • Based in Rome (we will not consider other cities, as local mobility and field presence in Rome and Lazio is key for success).
