Your future team

Join our Guest Experience team, where you'll play a role in shaping the user journey—from discovering homes to completing bookings. As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll collaborate with backend and frontend engineers, a project manager, a designer, a QA manager, and an engineering manager to create a seamless search experience for millions of travelers.

You'll play a key role in building a fast, reliable website that delivers a great experience to our users. Collaborating with our staff engineers, you'll help refine our technical stack, improving how we build, deploy, and scale our product. Beyond coding, you'll contribute to product decisions and architectural improvements, shaping the future of our platform.

Our Tech Stack

  • We write in Typescript and run NodeJS processes in Kubernetes.

  • We use ReactJS, Zustand and TailwindCSS on the client and Express on the server.

  • We use Vite to build our code.

  • Data storage with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch 7, and Redshift (as part of a data lake structure).

  • Heavy usage of AWS, Docker & Jenkins.

  • Monitoring with ELK, Grafana, Looker, and internally developed technologies.

Your role in this journey

  • You own the entire frontend journey of users between landing and booking their dream property.

  • You will be involved in the whole end-end software development process from ideation all the way through to release and monitoring.

  • You have the freedom and ownership to implement your ideas to improve and develop our products further.

  • Work closely with product management and engineering managers to define the team's goals and engineering priorities.

  • Collaborate with the entire frontend function to drive strategic technology decisions and own the team's frontend backlog.

  • You will design technical solutions, provision resources, integrate your applications directly with AWS, and maintain them.

  • You will help other developers bring their product ideas to life faster by iterating on how we build and deploy our code.

Your backpack is filled with

  • Over six years of experience as a web-frontend developer with expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and ReactJS.

  • Proficiency with TypeScript, state-management libraries, and TailwindCSS.

  • Experience creating excellent UI design and passion for understanding user interactions with the products built.

  • Excitement about technical challenges and interest in being close to business and customers.

  • Love for data-driven work and building world-class products with an excellent user experience.

  • Experience with experimentation and A/B testing.

  • Affinity for cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline optimization.

  • A "You build it, you run it" mentality.
