Your future team

  • You will be part of the Marketing Technology Engineering team. This team is responsible for supporting all the Holidu Marketing teams with technology solutions that enable and scale their efforts to optimise the campaigns and effectively reach their target audiences.
  • Your team will consist of 4 software engineers and one product manager.
  • You will be responsible for leading the engineering effort to integrate our data with our marketing tools like CRM and User Tracking
  • You will be responsible for various data pipelines that help automate the extremely complex and massive process of configuring different marketing channels. For example, Google, Microsoft and Apple ads, just to name a few.
  • You will work in close collaboration with our data analytics and data engineering teams in Business Intelligence as well as the Marketing teams themselves, by providing them with data on the Marketing performance.

Our Tech Stack

  • Cloud Data: AWS Stack (Redshift, Athena, Glue, S3).
  • Data Pipelines: Airflow, DBT.
  • Data Visualization: Looker.
  • Data Analytics: SQL, Python.
  • Collaboration: Git.

Your role in this journey

  • Play a key role in a high-performing cross-functional team with a strong focus on data products, velocity, quality and engineering culture.
  • Engage comprehensively in software development - from ideation to release and monitoring.
  • Lead the development of data pipelines that utilise Lakehouse Architectures in AWS for various Marketing business cases that will traverse multiple departments across the organisation.
  • Drive engineering objectives in tandem with principal engineering managers.
  • Excited about state of the art data technologies? Deep deep dive into a variety of solutions, optimise them or completely bring new innovations to the table.
  • Seek cost-efficient solutions while maintaining high standards of quality (SLA).
  • Actively seeks opportunities to improve existing systems and contributes to initiatives that enhance data engineering processes.
  • Apply best practices and continuously learn and share your thoughts with your peers.

Your backpack is filled with

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data/Analytics Engineer. Experience working on Marketing related topics like CRM, Performance Marketing, etc. would be an advantage.
  • Strong skills in SQL (especially Redshift/Athena). Python would be extremely advantageous.
  • Experience working with Lakerhouse architectures in AWS or other similar setups.
  • Effectively build batch and streaming data pipelines using technologies such as Airflow, DBT, Redshift, Athena/Presto, Firehose, Spark, SQL databases or similar technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex business problems into technical solutions.
