Your future team

As Director of Sales & Account Management for Bookiply, you will lead our Sales and Account Management departments across all our markets - currently consisting of the DACH, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese & Greek market with over 22 offices across Europe. Your team assumes responsibility for Bookiply's inventory coverage in terms of property selection, best prices and quality, as well as Bookiply's end-to-end business results (revenues, margin, profitability) in all markets. All our Country Heads will report directly to you. You will report to the global Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Job location: Munich, Milan, Barcelona or Bordeaux.

Your role in this journey

  • Take over responsibility for our supply in all markets and be responsible for our overall inventory growth, revenue targets and the resulting P&L. 

  • Develop and implement strategic commercial plans, together with the CRO, to identify growth opportunities, drive and grow revenue across all markets, constantly monitoring results and adjusting strategies and activities to make sure objectives and targets are being met.

  • Train and manage best-in-class sales and account management teams together with your Country Heads.

  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.

  • Continue to lead the Country Head team to world-class efficiency and effectiveness through creating an enthusing and energetic work environment ensuring key information and insights are shared and strong relationships are built.

  • Monitor and report on customer satisfaction and key performance indicators.

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, BI and Marketing to strengthen our product for all markets, build a strong presence for Bookiply in the markets, streamline procedure and improve our best practices.

  • Build a community with the Country Heads and Area Leads to support mutual growth, knowledge exchange and strong growth of the company overall. 

Your backpack is filled with

  • Several years of work experience with a successful track record in sales, account management, or business development.

  • Profound experience in leading high-caliber talent (especially managers of managers) to world-class results. 

  • A keen ability to mentor, coach, and motivate team members.

  • A strong analytical and data-driven mindset to continuously optimize our approach towards inventory acquisition and our inventory itself.

  • A sales-minded personality with strong communication and negotiation skills. 

  • An entrepreneurial and pragmatic way of thinking, service mindset and problem solving skills.

  • A hungry but humble personality, setting ambitious targets while always trying to improve.

  • A strong understanding of technology and product development processes is a plus.

  • A degree in management, economics, tourism, or related fields.

  • Fluent English skills, further language skills (German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek) are a plus.
