We are a fast-growing healthtech startup looking for a Finance & Accounting Senior Specialist to support our operations in Turkey and the US. In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining our financial infrastructure, oversee day-to-day accounting and payroll processes, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance and accurate reporting. Responsibilities

• Performing accounting analysis, posts entries, prepares reconciliations and/or maintain fixed asset accounts
• Posting bank transactions and checking bank trial balances with the the team
• Reconciles bank accounts monthly, verifies deposits, loans and addresses inquiries from banks
• Following the fixed asset process, work with different parties across the organization to transfer title of tangible and intangible assets
• Running the daily general accounting operations
• Supporting on month-end closing activities in line with deadlines by proactive planning and preparation of financial reports
• Develop and realize process improvements
• Working together for monthly closing processes and new reporting regulations with group companies of Heltia
• Recording all accounting transactions on daily basis and in accordance with the legislation and company accounting policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certificate is a plus
• Minimum 5+ years experience in Accounting & Finance
• Possess strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong ability to apply several accounting and reporting systems
• Experience in system transition process
• LOGO experience a must
• Must be a self-starter, results driven, and capable of working autonomously
• Strong communication and analytical skills
