We're actively seeking a seasoned senior artist to join our team. If you've got a proven track record of shipping characters in AA or AAA games, you're exactly who we're looking for. As a senior character artist, you'll be a vital driving force, operating with speed and a profound sense of ownership over the creative process. Your extensive experience in shipping characters in the AA or AAA gaming sphere will serve as a cornerstone for our endeavors. You'll be the torchbearer of your artistic principles, propelling our character art to new levels.

We believe in teamwork, and as a dedicated team player, you'll not only present your work but also actively engage in iterative discussions with the broader team. Your proven ability to harmonize with colleagues will be instrumental in elevating our collective artistic vision.
As a Senior on our team, you'll be the driving force to own and propel your discipline forward. Working closely with our Art Director, concept artists, Technical artists and fellow Character Artists, you'll steer the art and concept forward. Your knack for driving ideas and concepts and your ability of steering them towards fruition will be your hallmarks.
If you're also well-acquainted with Character Generation tools within Unreal Engine, consider it an ace up your sleeve. Your familiarity with these tools will enable you to seamlessly contribute to our projects. As an integral part of our journey, you'll play a pivotal role in extending our existing Art Direction to reach a world-class standard.

Ideally you have...
Proven yourself by crafting character models that have made it into one or more AA or AAA games.
Proficiency in Unreal Engine.
Track record of crafting character models featured in one or more released AA or AAA games.
Proficiency in Maya/Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Z-brush or equivalent tools.
Love for owning the artistic process, taking charge from the first stroke to the final product. You enjoy coming up with new ideas and putting fresh spins on existing ones.
Great communication and cross-collaboration skills.
It's nice if you have...
Passion for playing & making games.
Tech Art skills like skinning and rigging.
Worked with in-engine Character Creator tools using blend-shapes/Joint-scaling etc.
About the Employment
The position is permanent and you can work from our Stockholm office, hybrid or fully remote from anywhere in Europe. It is important that you are able to communicate unhindered in verbal/written English.
