Welcome to the engineering team

At GOALS the player experience is key and a core element of that is the quality of our game. We believe that as testing as possible should be done automatically to increase both the quality of the game and the efficiency of our studio.

As Senior Test Automation Engineer you will be a key driver for our automated testing systems and have a material impact on the quality of our game. You will work in cross functional teams, together with designers, QA, artists and engineers, and take part in the feature development through all its stages. This includes a range of systems from managing/providing automated functional tests to automated profiling of technical quality metrics in regression tests. We use C++ in Unreal Engine.

At GOALS, you will

• Together with the team, design and implement automated functional test
• Design and implement systems for various test setups that can be used by our engineers
• Integrate tests with our CI/CD to provide observability and alerts
• Design and implement test for different platforms (eg PC, Mac, Linux, Playstation, XBox)

Ideally you have...

• A strong programmer experience with a passion for test automation
• Experience developing in C++ for Unreal Engine
• Experience from Unreal Engine’s test framework Gantlet or other game engine test frameworks
• Experience from regression testing of multiplayer games
• Experience from building games for console

About the Employment

The position is permanent and you can work from our Stockholm office, hybrid or fully remote from anywhere in Europe. It is important that you are able to communicate unhindered in verbal/written English.
