What You’ll Do

• Own the industrial design of general-purpose robots from concept to production

• Create a design language that conveys trust, capability, and identity at human scale

• Lead ergonomics and interaction design so humans feel safe and intuitive with robots

• Work side-by-side with mechanical engineers to turn concepts into manufacturable, durable designs

• Rapidly prototype across sketches, CAD, mockups, and full-scale models

• Partner with manufacturing and suppliers to bring designs into volume production

What You’ll Bring

• Proven track record shipping breakthrough products in robotics, automotive, or advanced hardware

• Portfolio showing mastery of form, ergonomics, CMF, and design storytelling

• Fluency moving between concept sketching, CAD engineering, and visualization tools

• Ability to reconcile aesthetics, function, and tight engineering tolerances under real-world constraints

• Crisp, direct communication across design, engineering, and leadership

• Drive to shape how humans will first experience general-purpose robots

• Bonus: experience designing human-scale, safety-critical systems (humanoids, vehicles, etc.)
