What You’ll Do
Build and optimize realistic, scalable 3D environments that robots will learn in
Develop procedural pipelines to create diverse, high-quality assets, materials, and scenes at scale
Determine requirements on asset materials, shaders, lighting, and physical properties for physically accurate rendering and simulation
Collaborate with AI, robotics, and graphics teams to ensure they meet both visual fidelity and physical accuracy needed for training robot control models
Create tools to automate asset ingestion and generation from scans, CAD data, or procedural scripts
Work with and manage third-party asset vendors, with the goal of building the world’s best library of assets and scenes for robotics simulation, unified across different sources
What You’ll Bring
Experience using digital content creation tools (Houdini, Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, etc.)
Deep understanding of physically based rendering, accurate lighting, photogrammetry, and rendering pipelines
Experience with procedural asset generation for scalable content creation
Ability to script or develop plugins for content tools in Python or similar languages to streamline workflows
Comfort working hands-on with engineers and researchers to integrate assets into simulation and training pipelines
Bonus: Experience with robotics simulation (Isaac Sim, Mujoco, Genesis, etc.)
Bonus: Experience managing third-party vendor and art contractor relationships
Bonus: Experience working with and for generative AI
