Legal Operations Associate
Fuse Financial Technologies
About Fuse
Fuse is rebuilding clearing from the ground up. Fintech has gone global and emerging markets have become growth markets, transitioning from high risk jurisdictions to must have corridors, but clearing banks haven’t evolved. We believe the clearing stack needs to be rebuilt. Treasury pooling and/or stablecoins fix surface level issues, but no one is rebuilding the underlying infrastructure in each market - from correspondent nostro account networks to clearing on local central banks.
We’re building a new type of clearing bank, connecting globally important growth markets (such as the Middle East, China, India, Turkey and many more) to G7 currencies through named virtual accounts in every jurisdiction. We take quality very seriously - using our own direct central bank clearing where possible, applying for global banking licenses, operating a universal reliance KYC model - all to ensure the same few lines of code enables a correctly named payment from a local account in every market, making us the ideal clearing partner for any cross border payment.
The Role
We’re looking for a Legal Operations Associate to join our Dubai HQ and take ownership of our day-to-day legal contracting processes. You’ll be working on NDAs, enterprise customer contracts, and supplier agreements — most of which are bespoke, high-value, and critical to our business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who’s detail-oriented, commercially minded, and able to balance legal risk with business priorities. You’ll work closely with our sales, partnerships, and leadership teams to make sure contracts are negotiated efficiently, risks are managed, and processes are followed — enabling Fuse to move fast while staying protected.
Your day to day will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating NDAs, supplier contracts, and complex enterprise customer agreements.
- Managing contract workflows from initial request to signature, ensuring turnaround times are met.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders (sales, partnerships, operations) to align contract terms with business requirements.
- Keeping track of contract versions, amendments, and obligations in a structured system.
- Maintaining and improving our contract templates and playbooks.
- Escalating legal or commercial risks appropriately and providing recommendations to mitigate them.
- Liaising with external counsel as needed for specialist advice.
- Supporting process improvements to make contract negotiation more efficient and scalable.
This is an opportunity to be at the heart of Fuse’s commercial engine, working on deals that shape our global growth.
- Law degree and some practical legal experience — this could be from a law firm, in-house role, or internship.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, ideally with exposure to B2B or enterprise contracts.
- Comfortable working with bespoke, non-standard agreements.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Commercial mindset — able to balance legal risk with business priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external counterparties.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or technology sectors.
- Exposure to cross-border or multi-jurisdictional contracts.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS or API service agreements.
- Previous experience creating or managing contract playbooks.
- A Macbook
- Opportunity to travel (if applicable)
- Unlimited vacation time
- Private Healthcare
- Employee stock ownership (ESOP)
- Flexible working and autonomy
