About the role:

You will be a finance & accounting business partner to the local country director and functionally report to the Global Accounting team. As the representative of Accounting in the local market, you will participate to ensure close alignment with the Accounting team and the Financial Systems team in our headquarters.
In addition to leading the day-to-day accounting and finance responsibilities, you will play a core part in mapping the future financial system landscape for our market in Vietnam.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead & Develop the Accounting Function: Oversee daily accounting operations, provide leadership and training to the team, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all accounting records.

• Manage Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and submit all tax and official declarations, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including leading audit and month-end closing processes.

• Drive Finance Process Optimization: Proactively develop and continuously improve existing finance processes, especially within the ERP system, focusing on automation and efficiency enhancements.

• Lead ERP System Deployment & Integration: Spearhead the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics BC365, ensuring compliance with local GAAP/IFRS, and supporting automation between Salesforce, TMS, and BC365.

• Support Financial Controlling & Cash Management: Provide relevant financial KPIs to business leaders, support month-end reporting (revenue, GP, SG&A, cash flow), and enhance visibility on spending and working capital.

• Manage Stakeholder & Partner Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for internal finance-related queries and for external auditors/tax authorities, ensuring smooth collaboration and compliance.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Possess strong knowledge of Vietnam GAAP and IFRS.

• Proven experience in building finance ERP systems from scratch or leading major ERP change projects.

• Exhibit a strong aptitude for Excel and Google Sheets.

• Command fluency in English and Vietnamese.

• Skilled in developing appropriate business analysis, revenue projections, and forecasting processes.

• An analytical and data-driven mindset, actively contributing at a strategic level.

• A self-starter with a proactive approach, consistently delivering results and tackling challenges.

• Demonstrate strong teamwork capabilities and a hands-on personality.

• Adept at working effectively in cross-cultural environments.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in a logistics/freight forwarding firm in a similar role is a plus.

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics BC365, Swivel, Salesforce, or Spendesk is highly advantageous.

• Proficiency in Python and VBA would be beneficial.

• Experience with SQL and database management is a plus.
