About The Role:

As a senior frontend engineer, you will together with your colleagues have a key role in setting the foundation of our Flower Hub Portal. The product is facing several types of customer groups with different needs and experience. Our challenges are creating good user flows, visualizing complex data and scaling the product further with more functionality, new market adaptations and internationalization. You will be developing a new portal being able to influence technical, product and processes heavily. In the role you will be interacting with other product teams such as Partner Portal, Asset Control, Trading and Marketing.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with the PO and team to define user stories
  • Develop and maintain our portal in React, Figma, NestJS etc
  • Be in the forefront of the frontend development
  • Contribute in architectural, structural, process, user needs discussions
  • Contribute to a stable and scalable solutions, setting client side test
  • Seeing to the CI/DI for frontend but also helping in the fullstack environment with NodeJS, TypeORM, AWS, Cloud Formation, Terraform etc

In your daily work, you will work closely together with full-stack engineers in the team as well as with other software engineers, platform engineers, integration and automation engineers and the product owner.

As we are operating in a fast-paced and innovative environment, your tasks will vary over time, and enjoying cross-collaboration with people in other teams will be key to figuring out the best solutions!

⚡️ Who you are

We believe that you have a degree in Computer Science or similar, documented experience that can be considered equivalent. You have at least three years of relevant working experience. You find it meaningful to work on Flower’s mission of accelerating the energy transition. You like to work independently and thrive in an agile environment where coming up with new ideas and initiatives is encouraged!

💪 Important skills ("must haves"):

  • Strong frontend programming skills in React
  • Experience of Figma, responsive web first
  • Experience of multi roll b2b & b2c system with complex flows and data
  • Experience of building system from scratch or early on
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

✌️ Some "nice-to-have" skills and experiences:

  • UX perspective
  • Experience of building scalable web applications
  • Experience working at a startup or scaleup
  • Experience working within the renewable energy sector
  • Experience as a fullstack engineer

📍 Location

We value office collaboration but support some hybride work. Our office is at Söder Mälarstrand, minutes away from Gamla Stan subway station in Stockholm.
