About the Last Mile Operations Team
The Last Mile Operations team is the strategic brain of Flink's entire delivery operation. We are the central business owner of the dispatching system - the algorithmic engine that manages our rider fleet, matches orders, and optimizes routes in real-time. Our mission is to blend deep data analysis with sharp business acumen to fine-tune this engine, predict performance, and guide the long-term strategy that powers our growth and profitability.
Job Description
- As a Dispatching Intelligence Analyst, you will be a key driver of our operational performance. You will translate deep operational understanding into tangible improvements for the business.
- You will conceptualize and coordinate the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency through product and process improvements.
- You will oversee the testing and optimization of our logistics tech stack to drive operational impacts.
- You will model and analyze past and future business outcomes and develop projections for long-term business planning.
- You will translate your deep operational understanding into actionable avenues for improvement for our data and data science teams.
- You will empower senior company decision-makers with reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses.
- You will collaborate closely with our HQ product, engineering, data, data science and business teams as well as local operations teams.
Qualifications
- We are looking for a first-principles thinker with a deep passion for uncovering insights within complex datasets and telling stories with data.
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, IT, Finance, Business Analytics, or a similar discipline.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in a highly quantitative role such as Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Operations Intelligence, with a track record of turning analysis into business impact.

Core Competencies:
A strong statistical foundation and a deep understanding of key business and operational metrics.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into logical, manageable components.
Solid knowledge of statistical testing methodologies and how to interpret their results.

Technical Skills:
Expert-level SQL for complex data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
High proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and visualization, with experience using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, etc.
Business Acumen: The ability to connect data and analysis to real-world business impact and to communicate insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
