Job Description

We’re looking for a sharp, strategic, and creative Content Manager (m/f/d) to own our brand voice and drive growth across our German market. You’ll be at the heart of everything content-related – from defining our content strategy, managing social media channels, to writing and editing copy that connects with our audience. You’ll be reporting directly to our Marketing Lead.

What you’ll be taking care of:

Content Strategy

  • Define and execute a content roadmap tailored to the German audience, aligned with overall brand and business objectives
  • Conduct regular content audits and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and optimize performance
  • Partner with performance, CRM, and commercial to ensure messaging consistency across all channels
  • Develop campaign concepts that turn business briefs into strong editorial narratives
  • Stay ahead of cultural and social trends to ensure our content stays relevant and local

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Write sharp, on-brand copy in German for social media, CRM, growth campaigns, performance ads, in-app (marketing and product) content, emails, offline materials like flyers, social media, and more.
  • Lead the ideation and production of both static and video content – think reels, TikToks, carousels
  • Edit and refine visuals and copy to ensure quality and consistency
  • Create or localize English content for the German audience, adapting tone, nuance, and

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in content marketing, social media, or editorial roles
  • Fluent-level German and excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong portfolio of written and visual content, across multiple formats
  • A strategic, creative mindset paired with hands-on execution skills – you can see the big picture and dive into the details
  • Solid understanding of what makes content perform across different platforms
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders

Bonus points

  • Experience in food, lifestyle, e-commerce, or digital services
  • Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, Figma)
