Job Description
As a Finance Intern, you will support the Finance team in daily operations, gaining hands-on experience across Accounts Payable and General Accounting processes. This role offers a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in finance by working closely with experienced professionals and contributing to essential business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily support the Accounts Payable team in the timely and accurate processing and posting of incoming invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and compliance with internal policies (purchase-to-pay process).
- Work closely with the global AP team and gain exposure to global processes, tools, and compliance standards across different countries.
- Analyze invoice processing flow to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and recurring issues, and propose improvement ideas to streamline the end-to-end process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, IT, local finance) to troubleshoot and resolve delays in invoice processing or data inconsistencies.
- Contribute to automation and digitalization initiatives by supporting testing or implementation of new tools or process enhancements.
- Support the Accounting team with ad-hoc analyses and reports.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Masters or Bachelors in business, economics, finance, accounting, business or a related field;
- A detailed oriented and focused mindset;
- You are structured and accurate and drive for the best results;
- A hands-on ability, make sure the execution of your plans meets expectations in practice;
- The ability to be a team player and communicate in a clear and structured manner.
