As a Strategic Finance Associate - Performance Steering (m/f/d), you will be a key player in transforming how we manage our financial performance and strategic initiatives. You will partner closely with various departments to improve financial steering by enhancing our business case processes and shifting the focus from data crunching to generating actionable insights. Your role will be crucial in driving better decision-making across the organization.
Job Description
- Financial Steering and Analysis: Lead the development and refinement of financial models and forecasts to improve the accuracy and relevance of our financial insights.
- Business Case Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust business cases for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial viability.
- Insight Generation: Shift focus from traditional data crunching to providing actionable insights that support strategic decisions and operational improvements.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, systems, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
- Strategic Support: Provide financial analysis and insights to support senior leadership in strategic planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Experience: Several years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and financial drivers, with the ability to develop business cases and strategic recommendations.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting tools, and data visualization software (e.g., Excel, Looker, Oracle Fusion).
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally, influence without authority, and build strong relationships with diverse teams.
- Initiative: Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when dealing with complex financial data.
